- In the early 80's, when Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet began, music was in the clubs of the island were versions of our songs melodic dance. I came for the first time in 1991, was the era of Ku and the `old Ibiza, 'and then act at the festival Ibiza 92. I liked that Eivissa bucolic where people had a wonderful lifestyle, a philosophy very rock'n'roll and everything was very real.
- Sant Joan has become the refuge of the great myths of British rock, as you or Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin. Why should they have built his house and share life in this area?
- In my case because there were too many drunken Englishmen, although I must confess that I left because they could not find the typical English crown to go (laughs). I love the north of the island because it has everything: field, tranquility, sunset, food ... and people is normal, honest and straightforward. This is the impression that lasted the first time.

But had wanted to make clear that a show with my new group and come back to my house, where taped, a place that inspires me and where I'm focused.

- From a chance. Suddenly, everything took effect during a visit to London and I realized that I could do it, brought all the necessary material in the most traditional. . I thought: `I will make a feast here and bring the whole team on a boat '. Initially we plan to do with other groups in Ibiza Rocks Hotel, but Chris Gonzalez and Juanito gave us Las Dalias to mount a musical event as a festival, with different groups and for all ages.
-- Will it be a festival for old fashioned, as they send the royalty of rock, or more cut today?
We strive to achieve something resembling a small Glastonbury Festival, a sort of Disneyland of rock'n'roll. A festival like in the eighties, where the music was the key factor, which moved around and kept alive. We have joined British indie groups and musicians like us. We want young people feel at ease because they are the engine of all and for this we add a plus with dj's Bizarre as Lenny, a local incredible character, a dj rock and dj's more contemporary, more funkys as Graham Sahara and Jonathan Sa meat carving, which will not clicking house music, but something different. Jade is a friend and Dan is a fantastic disc jockey who plays a very special way.
-- Is this event will include other art forms, as is common in Las Dalias?
- Not only do we want to play music, but also show art. . I am an artist and art as such I wish to share with others. S This is ultimately to a festival and give it color. Acceptance by the artists, performers and DJ's has been fabulous. Todos los grupos que hemos invitado han aceptado. All groups that have invited have accepted. I think it's a great idea, something different. I think we can convince people you are going to do something different, but we really have to do.
-- Will it play old hits by Duran Duran or unreleased tracks with his new banda?
. - I will play a series of songs drawn from the new work we have recorded in my study of Sant Joan. Topics composed a new album with Irish singer Liam Keenan with which I write all my songs.

- At the moment is called `Burger Kingdom '. ... Not going on but the U.S. could ... (risas). (laughs). Liam and I had worked together on stage prior to my Duran Duran, and then, when we reencontramos, we had a lot of unpublished material and, furthermore, we have provided the time necessary to do so. In addition, I found a battery of only 21 years is absolutely fantastic. When I found this battery, I found the sound you are looking for.
-- When will be released?
- Probably in September, but first I want to do tests. .. It's easy when you're in my position and I want to forget basics that every match, the group, songs, the sound ... This summer, before finishing mixtures I want to make sure that is something real and show a real banda de rock.
? -- What is the difference between the music of the 80 current and analysing, from his experience over three decades?
