I had to listen to it a couple of times, myself. I liked it better the second time through. I've always been a fan of Andy's solo works, t hough.

it started to grow on me too after giving it some more listens. his vocalist is very Bowie-esque in my opinion.

that's a lyric from the Power Station song "Lonely Tonight", and basically sums up how I feel about Duran. They've been part of my life for most of it, :-)

Also I was too young and did not know who you were yet. Then again maybe I did but I pretended that I did not.
