I like Lonely in Your Nightmare too. I know he is playing a fretless on that, and I dont really know what difference that makes, but he does have an interseting sound on that song. Very melodic as well.

This is quite helpful actually - my best friend's little brother is turning into quite the bass player, but he doesn't know of Duran Duran (for shame!) I'm making up a sampler CD for him (with my other favorite bassists.) Sadly, being so non musically inclined it was hard to pick out songs that I thought would really interest a bass player. Strangely enough, the only song that I picked that no one's mentioned yet was Ordinary World!  |
