I heard it!! I'm here in New Orleans. It was short and sweet.
I got a floor seat. I was on first level. I'm floor, 6th row, John's side.

Hey,
better late than never, I guess. sorry. I just got back from New Orleans early Monday morning.
Hell, what did he talk about? I promise I will find out from the other girls in the room, b/c I was half asleep. I do know that the girl DJ was having puppies talking to him. When she said, John Taylor is coming up next, she started to pant. LOL.
I did have a great time. They were wonderful. I met a bunch of wonderful people.

sorry, I'm late. It's just been crazy with summer school. I also had to ask the girls that were with me what he said.
Like I said in my previous post, the girl DJ panted when she said, John Taylor of Duran Duran would be coming up next. She went on to say..he just landed and was trying to find a land line to call the radio station which was an oldies station..that played basically...70's rock.
When he came on, they were playing The Reflex in the background. The interview was only like 3 mins.
They talked about the tour starting in New Orleans. The original five being back together, then the guy DJ called John the rocker of the band. John said, I'm not the Rocker, Andy is...I'm the mocker. LOL! They argured with him back and forth..which just tells me they didn't do their homework and the girl dj was in bliss. The girl DJ asked if they still had groupies backstage and how did they handle that...John hemmed and hawed on that one...he said they did, but not really. It wasn't a big problem like it was back in the 80's. then they thanked him for calling in and said the show is tonight.
To me, it was basically plugging the show that was that night. I thought they were going to ask more interesting questions. And, we, my roommates and I, got up at 7am to listen to that which came on at 8:30am after being up for half of the night.
Again, sorry I'm late, but there ya go.
