I am a very devoted Duranie and have been for many many years but today I have finally taken the plunge and joined a forum. If there is anyone here from Melbourne in Australia, I would really love to hear from you. Im feeling very lonely not being able to get excited about Duran Duran with anyone. Is There Anyone Out There.
David.

Hiya David
Welcome to DDFU, we're glad u joined us. I'm Wendy and I live in the US. I've been a fan for a long time too, since about 1982 or so. I know how u feel not having anyone to share the DD excitement with. All I have as my outlet is the forums. So post and have a good time here, we're a friendly bunch!

Hi Nat from Paris.
Pleased to meet another devoted Duranie. I have to say when I first started liking Duran Duran I was John Taylor fan and then over time I have become a Simon Fan. So I can fully understand that John is your favourite. Unfortunately I have never been to a Duran Duran concert but that will be def changing. As soon as I hear the good news for an Australian Tour for Red Carpet...I will be there with a Reflex. Do you know where I can find some good quality copies of the filmclips Careless Memories and Last Chance on The Stairway and Lonely In Your Nightmare?
David.

David, Nice to meet u too. I live in Tennessee. My favourite from the beginning is John Taylor. Then after awhile, I started liking Andy too. Yes, I've been fortunate enough to see them live several times. I really do hope you get to see them in concert for RCM. I know Austrailia got left out from the Astronaut tour. They put on a great live show. You should be able to find everything you are looking for here: duranduran.no/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=80&Itemid=34. That is the direct link the the videos. If it doesn't work, go here: duranduran.no/cms/index.php and click extras, and then: video was made with love for you. That's a good DD site. Have fun! Wendy

Hey there David ( as well as my other old friends!)
My name is Courtney and I live here in the USA (Cleveland,Ohio). I grew up listening to Duran from the tender age of 3 when my sister had an obsession with them, and that was then passed along to me. I have been fortunate enough to see them live a number of times, and really hope that every Duranie will one day have that experience. I have a feeling the tour for RCM is going to be huge, so I hope you get that chance. I have a friend that lives in New Zealand that also feels your pain....a fan for 25 years, and never a chance to see them live.
Hope you enjoy this forum...I have made some wonderful friends here

Hi Courtney, Nice to hear from you. Im getting very excited over here for the release of RCM and fingers crossed hoping that they will tour here in Aussie LAnd. I hope that they wont leave us out this time. Wow you have been a fan since the age of three. Thats excellent. When you saw them live how close were you to the stage.? Which tour did u see.? When duran released Astronaut they also released an album called Beautiful Colours which was not released in Australia. It had a few songs on it like Beautiful Colours and Virus and TV vs Radio and Lonely Business. Do you know where I could get my hands on some of those MP3's anywhere?

Thankyou thankyou. Are you going to see the RCM show over there?. David I dont think anyone has ever said that to me before. ;D LOL. No, unfortunately i'm not going to the Broadway shows. NYC is way too expensive for my pocketbook at the moment. I am however planning on going to the Las Vegas show (when/if) there is one this time around with the other admin on this board and another friend. In regards to this...... I'm not sure if that was ever an "official" release by DD. So dont go buying it from anyone. Most of the tracks you are requesting are available HERE. Scroll down to the bottom of the page under Astronaut Demos. If there's anything else u need, I probably have it, or can direct you to where you can get it. Wendy
