Hiya everyone , hope your weekend is going very well !!...since the summer is very near, i was wondering what is everyone picks on albums this summer ?...as for me, the following albums is gonna set my summer off for sure...with school & possible vacation !

Adam Ant: Friend Or Foe......after listening to, "Made Of Money"...i'm really tihnking about getting this album!



Ultravox: Vienna......"Vienna" & "Passing Strangers" are brilliant songs..



Visage: Visage .......after seeing the video for, "Mind Of A Toy" back in 03'...i've always wanted to grab my hands on any Visage album



Roxy Music: Flesh + Blood.....from the singles i've heard from this album, such as: "The Midnight Hour", "Flesh + Blood", "Oh Yeah" & "Same Old Scene" sounds terrific ...wouldn't mind hearing, how the rest of the album sounds

Ahh yes, the magic albums that set the perfect summer mood. Here's a few of mine and they're mainly for nostalgic purposes. I might add more later...


Not exactly an album, but a compilation. Waaaaay back in the summer of 2003, I bought this as a graduation gift to myself. It reminds me of my childhood and all those summer days when it was too hot to go outside, so I stayed inside and listened to music and did colored pencil drawings, LOL! Aside from that, this is an awesome 80s compilation that I highly recommend checking out if you haven't already.


Red Hot Chili Peppers- Californication This album was released back in the summer of '99 and reminds me sooo much of that time. That was the year we went to Colorado and saw all that amazing mountain scenery. Pictures just don't do justice! That was also a great summer for a number of other reasons that would fill up the page. Good times, good times!


OMG RUSH Power Windows!!!! For the most part, this album sounds like the perfect complement to summer evenings. Especially 'Middletown Dreams', 'Emotion Detector' and 'Mystic Rhythms'. All those songs have somewhat of a dreamy feel to them. Can't really explain, but if you hear them, you'll know what I mean.

well i LOVE the adam ant album..i totally recommend it!! just a little trivia... did you know that yasmin is on a cover of a visage album or 12" single? i have it, but can't remember what one it is. lol

as for albums im going to get.. i think i want to buy this on cd... if its available... cause how much more summerish (i know its not a word!) can you get then with cruel summer!
