Duran Duran cancel show in Nice, France due to family bereavement
Duran Duran have been forced to cancel their upcoming show in Nice, France, originally scheduled to take place on Thursday 12 June, 2008, because of the unexpected death of keyboardist Nick Rhodes’ father at the end of last week.
The band members are extremely sorry to disappoint fans, but hope that everyone will understand that only such tragic circumstances would keep them from a performance.
Unfortunately, due to the band’s European tour schedule and the availability of the venue there is no possibility to move the band’s South of France date - but they hope to be able to return on their next Continental run.
All tickets are fully refundable at point of purchase.

Well, you never know. They might show up and do a random show there sometime. That wouldn't be unlike DD.
