Chubby Simon Le Bon looks more like Simon Le Blob after stripping off on the beach.
The Duran Duran star did himself no favours by squeezing into a pair of tiny Speedos.
Then, in an echo of his hit song Rio, he was caught prancing on the sand, before clambering awkwardly over rocks.
Simon, 49, has warned a skinny Amy Winehouse to put on some weight, and it seems he's been taking his own advice with his holiday eating.
The singer whose other hits include Girls On Film and Hungry Like The Wolf, made bandmates Roger Taylor and JohnTaylor, both 48, look relatively slim as they sat by the shore.
One holidaymaker said: "Simon has definitely grown a bit of a paunch since his heyday in the 1980s.
"But he seemed to be totally chilled out and just enjoying his time in the sun with his pals." The band were relaxing in Italy last week before a concert the next day in Reggio Calabria.
