Andy was so underrated as solo artist wasnt even funny... he is a talented man... for sure... I love his solo stuff...

speaking of which, I found a really good interview I am going to post w/ Andy. If it is old news to anyone, I am sorry, but this is one of the best interviews with Andy I have read in a long time. Think its a year or 2 old, but its really good, I haven't seen it before. www.melodicrock.com/interviews/andytaylor.htmlHe really opens up about Duran back in the day and talks quite a bit about making Thunder and Dangerous. He is really funny and eloquent in this interview, and also has a funny comment about Rod Stewart, lol. |

I just read Andy's article.......I didn't know he'd gotten into soooooo much outside production work [same with Nick and Roger]. I 've heard a few of Andy's singles. I would hope that one day 'that vault' will get opened and we'll hear those unreleased songs. That will be VERY good. :yeah:

yeah from what i've read, he became a very sought after producer once he left Duran, so he was in good shape afterwards, and i'm glad to hear it for him
and :yeah: on those demos. I would loooove to hear more from Andy. Thunder is a masterpiece and Dangerous is an awesome party CD. Come on Andy! Give us more! :yeah:

Played Dangerous at a party tonight, everybody loved it, asking who was singing and rockin out on the guitar. of course I was more than happy to let everyone know who it was, lol.
