Ok, here's the last one, and, apparently, the one that most of you have been waiting for.

Lasty Last....

I'll be honest with you, in this, my last band member blog. I see what people write about me on various boards. Not much – good or bad – surprises me. It did, however, shock me that some people found these band profiles too personal. I thought they supposed to be, isn't that the point? I am not sure how I can talk about the next band member without it being personal.
He is not an alien.
I get that question a lot.
The first time I ever met Duran Duran in a working capacity, they were doing a photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly magazine at the St. Regis Hotel. I was very nervous. I walked in, they were across the room and Simon was holding a huge bottle of Evian water, which he proceeded to throw at me, in a spiral, like one would a football. Thankfully I caught it, solidifying the relationship we carry on to this day (had I missed, well, you never know).. But the keyboardist. Him, I was afraid of. I have no idea why, but he completely intimidated me. He wore make up, and spoke and walked very quickly.
A few days later he was to do phone interviews from his hotel room and I was sent to sit with him. I could have thought of a million other things I would rather do. He answered the door and said "What kind of name is Katy (katty)?" I had a new pal.
So if he's not an alien, what is he?
He is the only person who is allowed to call me Kathryn.
He is the one I speak with every day, which I suspect annoys some of his band mates.
He is a tough task master.
He reminds people I am the band's longest standing employee (beating Davy by about a month).
He doesn't ever not stick up for me.
He stays longer than any one else in the band to speak to a fan who has been waiting for him.
He is the one that recently called me from a party in London to tell me "Sonny Crocker" was there and he was going to give him his cell phone so I could talk to him (for the record, I threatened murder should that happen, and thankfully he put my eternal mortification before his amusement)
He is smart and genuine and funny and interested and interesting.
He is so much more than I could ever attempt to put in this paragraph, personal or not.
I have different types of relationships with each of them. Nick is really (no PR bullshit critics) my best friend.
