www.usaweekend.comSome of the hottest musicians working today -- Coldplay, Velvet Revolver, Maroon 5 and 50 Cent -- will join artists who performed at 1985's Live Aid -- U2, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Madonna and Sting -- in five free concerts this weekend to raise awareness about poverty. Called Live 8, the concerts are set for Saturday in Philadelphia, London, Paris, Rome and Berlin. Duran Duran drummer Roger Taylor tells us that being backstage at the Live Aid concert in Philadelphia 20 years ago made him feel like a starry-eyed fan: "I remember walking around with Mick Jagger, and I was like, 'Oh, my God! I can't believe I'm walking around with Mick Jagger!' At that point, he was probably the most recognizable man on the planet. [And] Led Zeppelin were there. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. David Bowie. Everybody was involved in that event, and it was an incredible day."
