Thought I'd make a thread for us to discuss the best Simon singing moments in both DD and Arcadia songs. One of my favourite Si moments is during The Flame when he sings "How do you dare step into my flame" -- the way his voice changes on the word "dare" always gets me  |

i have to say my fave is NMOM
his vocal range is great on that--from a high falsetto to a low bass--such a great song and mostly for that reason!!!

I am in love with Simon's voice in Come Undone!! Look at my avatar to see my favorite line. i also think his voice is beautiful and just flawless in Beautiful Colors

I also love how he says" Lucky clover" in Reflex ...and "signs of love life SCATTA" in Careless Memories!!!

I love the way he sings Lonely In Your Nightmare.... his voice sounds so different from the other songs and it takes you to the core of the song.... he makes it so easy to daydream about it... :swoon:

Simon's voice in every song makes me quiver, but I really love the way he sings on The Chauffeur. Sing, sing, blue silver. OOOOOO, I love that. Absolutely enchanting. :swoon:

*sigh* This man has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard in my life -- he def goes down as one of the greatest in my book (right next to Freddy Mercury of Queen).
There's something about Simon's voice that's so haunting on some songs, and then so vibrant in others. It's awesome how he mixes the two ;D

oooooooo def veronica, i know what you mean about simon making me quiver, cuz he does it to me everytime; however, one song that sticks out of my mind right now, and i will get back cuz there are many more i am sure, but i love the way he says: "drank sangria in the park" in perfect day; just absolutely love that song!!! and i would def have to agree with Cor about the "scatta" part 0000000000 so sexy.
