Just bought the Dec issue of BLENDER today and was thrilled to see this photo included within the magazine(the article it was featured in was called "50 DUMBEST ROCK-STAR EXTRAVAGANCES"):

The Duran Duran frontman planned to sail his 78-foot racing sloop around the world, but nearly died when it capsized in the English Channel in 1985, tarpping him underneath for 20 minutes. He later sold the yacht to a Scottish care dealer; supermodels and champagne, persumably, were not included.
